  5. Hi Murder Lab-bers!

Firstly let me say what a brilliant idea Kristine had in setting this up. I know we were talking a while back about how there do not seem to be many accessible thriller/suspense groups online besides the big ones with big fees. So as Kristine asked...a little introduction about me.

I am a South African who now calls New Zealand home. I have a published short story (dystopian) in a national anthology and have a few published poems out there in the big bad world too. I write dark fiction: this comprises Thriller/Suspense/Crime/Paranormal(The Supernatural as in ghosts and psychics)/Horror/Dystopian. In 2013 I am releasing 2 paranormal/horror series of novellas. I will be Indie Publishing these. I also have 2 novel trilogies (Paranormal Historical) & a Paranormal Thriller in the works.

    I haunt these online addresses:

  8. Hello. My name is A.G.Hayes and I write political thrillers.

Dec. 11, 2012 My second book, THE JUDAS LIST was published. - Between the end of World War II and the winter of 1975, a 700-year-old prayer book, a key and a faded blueprint came to light in Vienna, igniting a 25-year search for Nazi Herman Goering treasure. In modern day Vienna, American agents Susan Koski and Joe Falk go undercover to locate the riches and the Judas List. The list is a compendium of individuals and organizations who financed WWII and, in its aftermath, intended to manipulate world finances to bring about the Fourth Reich. The Americans aren't the only ones in pursuit. So are ex-Nazi's, the Bosnians, Russians and, most recently, Muslim militants. Today's global financial woes began long before the term 'Fiscal Cliff.' This second work in the Koski and Falk series takes the reader to modern day Vienna and the Czech Republic to unravel the original sin of a monstrous financial stratagem to control world finances. Koski and Falk once again use their skills of deception and disguise to solve an economic mystery planned to continue progress on Adolph Hitler's Lebensraum of 1933."

I studied television writing at UCLA. and published short fiction, and have written scripts for CBS TV and other television production companies. I live in the Sierra Nevada Foothills and spend my time writing and traveling to nearly every part of the world. My personal experiences gained during service with British Army Intelligence in Eastern Europe and the Middle East serve to enrich the characters of my protagonist teams. My first political action/adventure book in the Koski and Falk series is entitled, "Who's Killing All the Lawyers?" (Savant 2011).

From the crime lab point of view one must remember that DNA did not exist in 1938. Trying to prove murder by arsenic poising was a real challenge since the use of arsenic to embalm was legal during the thirties

  17. My thriller manuscript is under construction, but I am currently under contract for my time-travel western adventure, Eve's Amulet, Book 1, with Black Opal Books, and my non-fiction work, The Long Term Effects of Sexual Abuse, is under contract with Spout Hill Press.

My poetry, memoirs, and short fiction works have received awards and are published, and my short comedy play has been produced.

I am excited to follow this site, which I found as a member of Sunny Frazier's Posse. (I am constantly amazed by her vast amount of knowledge in so many aspects of the writing industry.)

I am taking my time on drafting my thriller because I want it to be well researched and to be a cliff hanging who-dun-it, suspenseful creation.

  22. I am so happy I have found a site where I feel at home. Honestly, had you told me I would be publishing a paranormal thriller this year, I would have laughed, since I avoid all things scary on television. But in my case, I do know what happens next and that makes it okay. I utilized a hybrid model for publishing "The Middle Eye," which will be in pre-release in mid to late April. I am looking for someone who would like to review it who enjoys reading a fast paced novel about the U.S.-Mexico border and the horrors of child-trafficking. Here is a link to what it looks like. http://www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore/book.php?w=978-1-62510-270-6. I will send a copy for review if requested. Thanks.

  29. Hi, I'm Alex Sweeney and I'm writing a mystery set in the US in the fictional town of Unison. I sent the first part of it off to the CWA Debut Dagger competition and was astonished when I was shortlisted. At the moment I'm about two thirds through the book, Working In Unison, and there should be sequels. This is a milieu I've been writing short stories in for a long time. My heroes are a police detective and a young Japanese guy who accidentally ends up managing a gay brothel after the owner's shot in a drive-by.
Apart from this I have a couple of other worlds I write in from time to time and hope to eventually get something finished from them... if my characters would line up and get sorted for long enough...

I'm a thriller reader and a romantic suspense author. My seventh book, Sins of Her Father, will be released on September 15th by Entangled Publishing Select Suspense. I have two more books under contract with them that should be out in 2016.
Since people are sometimes murdered in my books, I'm always interested in crime and related trivia. I'm a forensics geek.
Thanks for starting this site. I'm looking forward to gathering tidbits of information that will make my stories even more believable.

  45. Hello! I'm June Gillam, author of the Hillary Broome Novels suspense series. The first two are out already: House of Cuts and House of Dads. Available at amazon among other places. House of Eire, Book Three, is set mostly in Ireland (Eire is Irish language for Ireland), so I'm going to send submit some of it to the International Anthology. Excited to encourage my friend writers to come here, as well.

  46. Hi
I'm Keith Dixon and I write crime thrillers. I've written 7 books featuring a British P.I. called Sam Dyke. The fourth in the series recently won the Chanticleer Reviews CLUE award in the Private Eye/Noir category, as well as a Notable Page Turner award from Shelf Unbound magazine. I've also written a contemporary novel called Actress, recently translated into Chinese and Spanish, and am just about to start my next crime novel. I found this site by looking for places to feature in my twitter stream, so it's going to be spread through the twittersphere! - great to meet you!

  48. Hi, I'm Cesario Picca, I was born and bred in Salento (South Italy) thanks to my parents Francesco and Antonia. I worked as a crime and judicial reporter but after 20 years looking for news and scoops I've decided to devote my time to my thrillers.
I have already published (2005) the juridical essay 'Ungagged - the developing concept of freedom of the press'.
My love for thrillers blossomed with 'Murder in the Tremiti Isles' in which the main character is a reporter from Salento, Rosario Saru Santacroce, who will soon be involved in many other intrigues and adventures with the same likeable verve and curiosity.
For example, now you can find Saru Santacroce in the new thriller Gioco mortale - delitto nel mondo della trasgressione. And the third adventure is arriving with the title Il dio danzante - delitto nel Salento. The only English version of my thrillers is Murder in the Tremiti Isles, the translation of Tremiti di paura.
In 2002 I was awarded the Piero Passetti prize for "chronicler of the year". I have been a speaker or moderator at numerous conferences and has participated in many radio and television broadcasts

  49. My name is Mark Bello and I have recently completed my first novel. 'Betrayal of Faith' is a legal thriller, loosely based on an actual case that I handled a few years ago. I wrote it before the movie "Spotlight" was introduced to the public, but the movie had such a powerful impact that I decided to self-publish my novel about legal, personal and religious ramifications that arise from these incidents. My favorite book genre is legal novels from Grisham, Turrow, North Patterson, Martini, Fairstein, etc.. So, I figured, why not "Bello"? I am now working on my second book, Betrayal of Justice. Enjoyed your site and your visitor comments. Here's a link to my book on B & N:http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/betrayal-of-faith-mark-m-bello/1125191929?ean=9781532006272#productInfoTabs. It is also available on Amazon and at the publisher website, www.IUniverse.com Thanks, Mark
